The GT18-5X by PRIMINER is a high-performance 5-axis CNC machining center designed for precision, efficiency, and reliability when machining medium to large workpieces. Equipped with a high-speed spindle and advanced 5-axis control, the GT18-5X ensures superior surface finishes and intricate part geometries. Its robust construction includes a rigid table and a dual-drive system on the X-axis in a master–slave configuration, ensuring optimal dynamic performance and stability. The GT18-5X’s advanced B/C head features torque motors supported on both sides for maximum rigidity and positioning accuracy.

For precision and repeatability, the GT18-5X uses Heidenhain glass scales on the X, Y, and Z axes. The Y-axis features a dual-drive system with two ball screws and three linear guideways, providing excellent dynamic performance and reduced vibration. Paired ball screws and dual linear scales across multiple axes further enhance accuracy and long-term durability.

The GT18-5X is available with Heidenhain TNC640 or TNC7, or with SINUMERIK ONE controllers, supporting true 5-axis simultaneous machining for complex parts.
